Royal Jordanian Airlines has resumed flights to Benina International Airport in Benghazi, marking a significant milestone after years of suspended operations.
The inaugural flight was celebrated with a formal reception attended by key figures, including Benghazi's Municipal Steering Council Chairman Al-Saqr Boujuwari, representatives from the Ministry of Civil Aviation, and security officials.
The Jordanian delegation was led by the airline's General Manager, Nael Al-Musalha, and included aviation and healthcare representatives.
Speaking at the event, Boujuwari highlighted the importance of the resumption in reconnecting Benghazi to the international community. He stressed that the move would boost trade, cultural exchange, and tourism in the region, furthering economic recovery efforts in eastern Libya.
