The head of the Audit Bureau, Khaled Shakshak, met on Tuesday with the Chief of the Libyan Iron and Steel Company, Mohammed Al-Faqih, after the latter party disclosed plans to start manufacturing gas cylinders.
The meeting was joined by the Director of the Military Industrialization Authority and a group of directors of the relevant departments of the Audit Bureau.
The proposal was laid out to review its economic feasibility and how to benefit from this project to promote local industry and youth employment.
According to the Audit Bureau, the Libyan Iron and Steel Company will implement the project in cooperation with the Military Industrialization Authority.
On his part, Shakshak stressed the need to carry out the manufacturing process per the specifications and quality set by the Brega Oil and Gas Marketing Company.
