Smood (Steadfastness) Front for Tripoli Protection and Security rejected Friday Leon’s proposed government.

In a statement, the Front reiterated its previous stances refusing what it called domination and trusteeship.

“We totally refuse this occupation and trusteeship government." The statement reads.

It also reiterated its commitment to the Islamic Sharia principles and rules as the source for all legislation and the 17th February revolution principles.

The Front called for a Libyan-Libyan dialogue and expressed approval of the National Accord Conference in Misrata, which constitutes the first step on the way for conciliation and social peace, according to the statement.

The statement came during a protest at Tripoli’s Martyr Square to denounce Leon’s proposed government.
