‎Benghazi Municipality announced the suspension of studies in all educational institutions within its neighborhoods on Wednesday and Thursday due to expectations of bad weather conditions and heavy rainfall.

Sirte Municipality also decided to grant an official holiday to primary school students in all public and private schools in the municipality on Wednesday and Thursday due to bad weather conditions.

The Education Supervision Departments in the municipalities of Al-Khums, Ajdabiya, Al-Marj and Mislata announced a holiday in all educational institutions on Wednesday due to bad weather conditions.

Jadu Education Supervision Department clarified that Wednesday will be a holiday for the first, second and third grades of primary education only, and that the other grades will attend school regularly. 

Al-Khums Education Supervision Department confirmed the continuation of exams for transfer years and the first period of general certificates from the sixth grade to the third secondary school, in order to ensure that the study plan is completed on time.

As for Mislata Education Supervision, it clarified that the holiday is for the fifth grade and kindergarten, confirming the continuation of exams for transfer years and the first period of general certificates from the sixth grade to the third secondary school.

Northern Libya is witnessing strong wind and scattered heavy rain, especially in the east of the country, due to the impact of the low pressure system that is expected to extend until the end of the week, according to the National Center for Meteorology’s forecasts.
