Study in the eastern Libyan city of Ajdabia is still suspended due to the ongoing military operations in the city, said a member of Ajdabia Municipality, confirming that the security situation in the city has been relatively calm over the last two days.

Moreover, Ajdabia banks are still suffering from lack of liquidity as most of them had shut doors for the public, except for the National Commercial Bank and Commerce and Development Bank. City bakeries are also going through a bad flour crisis, which obliged people to fall back on house-made bread.

Ajdabia used to be very stable and secure until rogue General Khalifa Haftar’s forces and his Dignity Operation fighters started in December a large-scale military operation against what he described as “terrorists”, which is so similar to what he is unsuccessfully doing in Benghazi since May 2014.
