The Commander of the Sudanese Rapid Support Forces, Lieutenant General Mohamed Humaidati, has vowed to go after the mercenaries of the Sudanese opposition armed movements in Libya and prevent them from entering his country.

"The Rapid Support had deployed forces in North Darfur to confront the armed movements if they dare to think of returning to Sudan," the Sudaress news website quoted Hamidati as saying.

Armed Sudanese opposition groups have been involved in the fighting in Libya by backing the so-called Dignity Operation in the southern part of the country.

The latest was the clashes that took place in Zella town northeast of Fezzan last October between these groups and locals defending their town.
