The Sudanese Police has arrested the dismissed Financial Adviser in the Libyan Embassy in Khartoum, Moulood Al-Dwaib, along with his son, Hamza, on charges of attempted murder.

The Libyan Embassy in Al-Khartoum, which falls under Tobruk Parliament, explained that Al-Dwaib attacked the embassy’s personnel using a knife and started vandalizing the embassy’s building with the help of his son.

Causing chaos inside the embassy, the diplomatic staff called the police for help, who got them out and took them to the police station.

“We assigned this case to one of our lawyers in order to make sure that the embassy personnel are protected against such violent attacks.” The embassy said.
