The Libyan Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibah inaugurated the Summer Days Festival on Saturday evening in Tripoli. Dbeibah was accompanied by a number of ministers and security officials, as the opening ceremony began with entertainment performances in various fields, followed by a visual presentation that introduced the cultural heritage and simulated memories of the past.

During the ceremony, Dbeibah announced the launching of the festival on its first day in the name of the city of Tripoli, which he described as beautiful, stable, and a city known for memorizing the Holy Quran.

The Chairman of the High Committee of the Summer Days Festival, Mohammed Hammouda - who is also a spokesman for the government, delivered a welcoming speech to the attendees, stressing that the festival had become a reality thanks to the efforts and ideas of youth adopted by the Government of National Unity.

He indicated that the government expressed its support and adoption of all youth initiatives, and that the festival would contain cultural performances, sports activities, art performances, competitions, entertainment activities and games for children.
