The Head of the High Council of State (HCS), Mohammed Takala, said there had been extensive international and local contacts to prepare for an upcoming meeting of him with the Head of the Presidential Council Mohammed Menfi and the Speaker of the House of Representatives (HoR) Aqila Saleh, in mid-July.
This announcement came in a speech at the 100th session of the HCS on the occasion of the one-year anniversary of his term in power, during which Takala explained that this meeting, will be held in Morocco and discuss a solution to the Libyan crisis for consensus on the controversial points of electoral laws, producing a unified executive authority, and activating the file of state sovereign positions.
Takala pointed out that the HCS had been preparing an initiative to resolve the crisis, which he said would accommodate the opinions presented on the Libyan scene and respond to the requirements of overcoming the current crisis in its various dimensions, including local government issues.
