The member of the Tobruk-based House of Representatives (HoR) Siham Sergiwa said UN envoy to Libya, Ghassan Salame's report on Libya at the Security Council was very interesting as it tackled the suffering of the people more than any previous envoys did, adding that this should urge Libyans to sit together without UN mediation.

Sergiwa urged the HoR to meet in Tobruk or Benghazi or even Tripoli so they avoid pressure regarding their opinions and duties for the people.

She said about not being able to go to Benghazi that she is still in contact with the electoral circle in the city and they are meeting in Tripoli some times, adding that she brought them money from Tripoli for Benghazi hospitals employees' salaries and military officers.

"No problem between Haftar and Al-Sirraj actually, so why did Paris bring them together? The problem is between Haftar and HoR members who reject the interference of military institution in politics and Haftar's problem with them is that he rejects the political agreement." She explained.

Haftar's self-styled general command denied the words said by Sergiwa that their fighters are being paid by the UN-proposed government's ministry of finance, saying their salaries are paid by the ministry of finance of the Interim Government in east Libya.

Sergiwa and several HoR members who support the political agreement have been for months living in Tripoli as they cannot return to their cities for their safety, as Dignity Operation loyalists consider them terrorists and supporters of terrorism.
