The Central Committee for Local Elections (CCLE) concluded on Tuesday the 4th edition of its training program concerning case management lawyers in the municipalities of Greater Tripoli, Al-Zawiya, Gharyan, Zliten, and Al-Khums.

The two-day workshop, which targeted 36 lawyers, highlighted the work of the CCLE and the international standards for holding elections.

The participants also discussed aspects of the legislative guide and conducted a practical demonstration of the electoral process and correct procedures on polling day.

The committee said the workshop comes within the framework of familiarizing members of the judicial system with electoral appeals and their mechanisms.

It further disclosed plans to hold another workshop for judicial officials in Benghazi, Al-Bayda, Al-Jabal Al-Akhdar, Tobruk, and Al-Jafra, with the participation of the Supreme Judicial Council at the level of the Libyan state.
