Libya’s Minister of Transport and Financial Advisor to the Prime Minister, Mohammed Al-Shahoubi, has held a meeting with the Egyptian consortium responsible for several key infrastructure projects, to review implementation progress and address ongoing challenges.

The meeting focused on the execution status of two major strategic projects including, the Ubari–Ghat road and the Third Ring Road in Tripoli. 

Discussions also highlighted technical and logistical obstacles hindering progress, with an emphasis on accelerating work and removing barriers to timely completion.

According to the Our Government platform, the talks also covered the level of progress on the Fernaj Bridge and the Zliten Bridge along the coastal road. 

Al-Shahoubi stressed the importance of adhering to established timelines, as well as maintaining high standards of quality and safety to ensure the successful delivery of these vital infrastructure developments.
