Forces of the General Staff managed on Sunday to lift the siege imposed by some armed groups on the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Transportation in the Salvation Government.
Minister Issam Al-Tamouni was locked in his office by some guards of the ministry demanding payment of their salaries.
The minister refused to sign their salary cheques due to their non-commitment to their work and frequent absence.
