Tripoli brigades commanders and revolutionaries' chiefs have said they are ready to face any acts of sabotage whether by the so-called IS or other groups.

Reacting to Friday attack on Mitiga Prison, the commanders described in a statement on Saturday acts of kidnappings or attacks on state institutions as a threat to civilians and state security, which requires unity.

"The citizens' support and assistance to the military and state institutions, in order to eradicate terrorist groups, are needed." The statement reads.

The statement comes after a failed attempt by IS militants to break into Mitiga Prison where around nine IS attackers were killed in addition to three prison guards.

Tripoli brigades showed their force in a military parade saying they are ready to hit any groups which undermines Tripoli's security and stability.
