Protests held in Tripoli on Sunday to denounce the initial signing of UNSMIL draft agreement in Skhirat, Morocco.
The protesters called for prosecution of those who signed the draft and demanded resignation of mayors who signed it too.
More than 30 members of Justice and Construction Party took part in the protest. They lashed out at part chairman Mohammed Sawan for signing the draft, saying he only represents himself.
The UNSMIL draft agreement was signed last night unilaterally in absence of GNC representatives, one of the two rival sides of the conflict. Political observers say signing of the agreement is meaningless and it will not have any effect on the ground unless it was recognized and signed by both sides.
