Tunisia said the Libyan Dialogue Forum would be hosted in Tunis on November 09 under the auspices of the United Nations.
The announcement came at the meeting of foreign ministers of Western Mediterranean 5+5 Dialogue Thursday online.
Tunisian Foreign Ministry said in a statement that all the attendees welcomed the hosting of Libyan Dialogue Forum in Tunis on November 09 as Tunisian officials reiterated their support for a lasting peaceful solution that preserves Libya's sovereignty and unity in a comprehensive dialogue under the auspices of the UN away from foreign interference.
UNSMIL earlier said the Libyan Dialogue Forum aims to achieve a unified vision for elections and added that all the participants at the dialogue won't be occupying any executive positions in the government.
Meanwhile, discussions of Libyan parties in Montreux, Switzerland, continued under the auspices of the UNSMIL to reach consensus on selecting a new presidential council and government with their authorities to be on the agenda of Libyan dialogue in Tunisia.
The discussions in Montreux include representatives from the Presidential Council, High Council of State and House of Representatives, independent figures and political parties' representatives.
