Sources in the Salvation Government is expecting the detained senior leader in Libya Dawn, Walid Al-Qlaib, who was arrested by Tunisian authorities, to arrive in Tripoli today as part of an exchange deal with the Tunisian Consulate diplomats seized in Tripoli this week.

Ministers of interior, foreign affairs and oil are now in Tunisia to settle the problem and close the file, the sources said. The Deputy Head of the Diplomatic Security Department in Tripoli, Faraj Al-Sweihli, confirmed that three Tunisian diplomats out of ten will be released in the coming 10 hours.

10 Tunisian Consulate diplomats were detained in Tripoli early this week in retaliation for Al-Qlaib's arrest. Sources close to the operation room that is following up with the release issue said that the Tunisian authorities were about to hand over Walid Al-Qlaib to Tobruk government before the detention of the 10 Tunisian diplomats.

The Tunisian authorities arrested Al-Qlaib last month in Tunisia without clear reason or charges for the arrest.
