On Friday, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan met with the head of the High Council of State, Khaled Al-Mishri, in the Turkish capital, Ankara.

According to a tweet by the Turkish Foreign Ministry Fidan stressed during the meeting that Turkey's main priority in Libya is to establish lasting peace and stability.

For his part, Al-Mishri stressed the importance of continuing consultation and coordination, to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries. 

The two sides also discussed several bilateral files and regional and international issues of common interest, according to the media office of the High Council of State.

During the meeting, the outputs of the Joint Committee 6 + 6 were discussed, to prepare and complete electoral laws; In this respect Fidan affirmed support for the efforts leading to free and transparent electoral process as soon as possible, according to the HCS.
