The committee concerned with the mass graves in Tarhuna has handed over two bodies to their relatives after confirming their identity.
The Ministry of Justice said in a statement the Commission for the Search and Identification of Missing Persons on Tuesday handed over the bodies of Abdul-Basit Shamshaqa and Hamouda al-Hamali to their families under the supervision of the Attorney General's office in Tripoli.
According to the statement, the two bodies were recovered from the "Mashrou Alrabit" district in the city of Tarhuna.
The families received the corpses of their relatives at the committee's HQ in Abu Salim Accident Hospital in Tripoli, after conducting all identification procedures and obtaining permission from the Public Prosecutor, the ministry added.
The two victims were lost in separate incidents between the end of 2019 and the beginning of 2020.
