The Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdulhamid Dbeibah, inaugurated two wastewater treatment projects: the Hadba Treatment Plant and the Wadi Al-Majinin–Sea Water Treatment Line.
According to the Hakomitna platform, Dbeibah hailed the efforts of government executive agencies in implementing these projects in partnership with major international specialized companies, ensuring adherence to international standards.
Dbeibah stressed that the projects were carried out in full compliance with legal frameworks and after review by regulatory bodies to guarantee their highest quality and maximum transparency, ensuring that all Libyans benefit from them.
In a related announcement, the Prime Minister revealed plans to reopen Tripoli International Airport in 2025. He also noted that the Third Ring Road project would see further progress this year.
Dbeibah described these infrastructure projects as essential and transformative, stating they would significantly improve services and transportation in Tripoli. He also highlighted the upcoming development of Martyrs’ Square and the National Museum as key initiatives to revitalize the historical heart of the capital.
