The Libyan Interior Minister Fathi Bashagha met with the chargé d'affaires of the United Kingdom Fleur Willson in Tripoli and said that Britain understands the reality of the war in Tripoli unlike other countries which are trying to convey far-fetched image of the security status in Tripoli and in Libya at large.

According to the Interior Ministry, Bashagha told the British diplomat that security conditions in Tripoli are very good, not like what the media is trying to convey "that it is very dangerous to be in Tripoli due to total lack of security" which is just unreal.

He also said that Libya won't allow opening detention centers for migrants inside Tripoli as the Interior Ministry is going to work with many countries to prevent migration through the Mediterranean and arrest the migrants to be tried at courts.

The UK chargé d'affaires said she was looking forward to visiting Libya to see the security status in Tripoli, calling on the EU countries to have a unified stance regarding Tripoli's security and Libya's security in general.
