A report by the UNSMIL registered 26 deaths and two injuries among civilians due to hostilities in Libya last April.

The deaths were 23 men and one woman as well as two children, while the injuries were one man and one woman.

"Nine deaths were recorded in Tarhouna city, 7 deaths and two injuries in Benghazi, 7 deaths in Sabha, two in Sirte and one in Tripoli." The report says, adding that the main cause was gunfire incidents among civilians.

The report explained that five of the deaths were hostages for a Tubu tribe's armed group and they were killed when airstrikes hit the locations they were detained in among the bombing of many locations in Sabha on April 24.

An Algerian immigrant was also injured by shrapnel of airstrikes and then died of his injuries on April 26, the report added, saying that more than ten others were wounded due to air-attacks, but the UNSMIL couldn't report on their status properly.
