Tripoli-based Al-Ahli traveled Wednesday evening to the capital of Ivory Coast, Abidjan, to play ASEC Mimosas in the first leg match of 16-round at Africa Champions League.

Al-Ahli’s media office manager said the team arrived in Tunis last Sunday and started preparing for the match against ASEC Mimosas. It played a friendly match on Tuesday against Ariana sports club from Tunisia and won 3-1.

Al-Ahli will play ASEC Mimosas at Stade Félix Houphouët-Boigny in the capital, Abidjan on Saturday and the match will be refereed by a set of referees from Madagascar.

Worth mentioning that Al-Ahli qualified for the 16-round after playing against Al-Hilal from Sudan and winning 1-0 in the first leg match in Tunisia and losing the second leg match in Al-Khartoum 2-1.
