Tripoli-based Al-Ahli lost the chance to qualify for the semifinals of the CAF Confederation Cup after it lost against the Tunisian Al-Najem Al-Sahli 0-1 on Tuesday as part of the fourth round matches of the second group at Zueitin Stadium in Tunis.

Al-Sahli scored at the minute 69 by Ahmed Al-Akayshi to reach 7 points in the group.

Although Al-Ahli still has two more matches to play, it lost hope in pursuing in the CAF competition and has officially been out of the group since it has not gotten any point from its four matches to come at the bottom of the second group, which also has Al-Fatah Al-Ribati and Al-Kawkab Al-Marakchi from Morocco, which will play Wednesday.
