Al-Ahly Benghazi won against the Egyptian club Al-Ahly in the quarterfinals of the African Basketball League with a score of 86-77 to qualify for the semifinals.
The match was held in the Rwandan capital Kigali, which is hosting the African Basketball League finals from May 24 to June 1.
Al-Ahly Benghazi ended the first quarter of the match 14 - 15 points, and in the second quarter 36 - 38, then it expanded the score in the third quarter by a difference of 6 points with a score of 49 - 55 and thus it ended the match with a score of 77-86. Al-Ahly Benghazi has now reached the semifinals of the tournament with this win.
It is noteworthy that the Egyptian Al-Ahly team is the defending champion of the African Basketball League.
