Al-Ahly Tripoli has qualified for the second preliminary round of the African Champions League after defeating the KMKM F.C. 4-0 on the Benina Martyrs ground in Benghazi on Saturday.

KMKM F.C. also suffered a 2-0 loss against Al-Ahly in the first preliminary round of the competition.

Al-Ahly dominated the match from the start and ended the first half with a comfortable 2-0 lead thanks to Ibrahima Tandia and Ahmed Al-Turbi.

In the second half, Al-Ahly continued to control the field resulting in two more goals that were shot by Ahmed Al-Tarbi and Ahmed Al-Qadiri.

With this victory, Al-Ahly will face the Sudanese Al-Marreikh in the second preliminary round of the African Champions League.

Libya's other representative in the African Champions League, Al Ittihad, will face the Flamboe du Center on Sunday at the Benina Martyrs Stadium after losing the first leg result with 1-0.
