Libya’s Al-Hilal won 1-0 against Kenya’s Ulinzi Stars on Friday in Cairo, Egypt, as part of the first round of the CAF Confederation Cup 2017.

Al-Hilal put in a great performance and scored the winning goal at the minute 47 by Ahmed Al-Abbar and thus winning some relief before it plays the second leg match.

Al-Hilal will need a draw or a win to find its way through to the second round of the CAF Confederation Cup.

Ulinzi Stars will need to win over Al-Hilal with more than one goal to qualify for the second round.

The second Libyan representative in the CAF competitions, Al-Ahli Tripoli, will play Ghana’s All Stars team on Sunday as part of the first round of CAF Champions League.
