Al-Sweihli has been crowned champion of the Libyan Volleyball Cup in the 2023-2024 season for the fifth time in its history, after defeating Al-Nasr by three games to zero.

In the first set of the match that was held on Thursday, Al-Sweihli led with a score of (25-20) and then ended the second set with a score of (25-21), while the Al-Nasr team withdrew in the third set.

This win came three days after Al-Sweihli club won the Libyan Volleyball League for the 12th time in its history, after defeating Al-Nasr as well, with a score of three games to one.

Al-Sweihli had a historic season, as it did not lose any local match, performed well in the Arab Championship, and won the Arab Championship Cup title.

With these results, Al-Sweihli achieved a treble for the first time among Libyan clubs throughout the history of the game, after winning the Arab Championship title hosted by the Jordanian capital, Amman, at the end of last February, winning the Libyan League, then the Cup title.
