Dernas footballer released after three months in custody
Pro-Dignity Operation security apparatuses freed the football player at the Dernas club in Derna and former Al-Ahli Tripoli footballer, Edriss Mikraz, on Sunday.
Sources from Derna city confirmed that Mikraz arrived in the city on Sunday after being detained by Dignity Operation forces for three months without facing any charges.
Mikraz was arrested in the pro-Haftar Karasa checkpoint in western Derna while he was retiring from Sousa city to Derna as he was filling his car tank with fuel.
Derna has been besieged for months by Khalifa Haftar’s forces, who are disallowing the residents from obtaining the basic needs and commodities such as foods and medicines as well as fuel and cooking gas cylinders.
