FIFA President Gianni Infantino has promised to visit Libya in the near future to provide all possible aid to the Libyan Football Federation (LFF).

In his meeting with the Chairman of LFF Anwar Al-Toshani during FIFA Futsal World Cup in Colombia, Infantino said supporting Libya's stability through sports is essential.

He also promised to address the issue of lifting the ban on Libyan stadiums and LFF dues to FIFA.

"FIFA is ready to contribute to the development of Libyan football and help Libyan sports to return back to normal," Infantino said during the meeting.

Libya has been banned from playing at home since 2011, which has impacted performance of Libyan football clubs and reduced their chances of qualifying or competing for titles in international competitions.
