Libyan football league's final round of the six-team group for 2021/2022 season champion couldn't be announced on Wednesday due to a last-minute goal by Al-Ittihad against Al-Nasser, thus making it obligatory to hold a playoff where the club will play Al-Ahly Tripoli for the league title.

The final round's odds were on Al-Ittihad, Al-Ahly Tripoli and Al-Akhdar. However, Al-Ittihad scored a late winner against Al-Nasser (2-1) and became equal in points and goals with Al-Ahly, which won its match against Al-Olompi 1-0 after failing to score a penalty, which could have given the club the title on goal difference.

Al-Akhdar beat Al-Ahly Benghazi 2-1 and became third on the six-team group, thus guaranteeing a spot along with fourth-place Al-Nasser at the CAF Confederation Cup.  Al-Ahly Benghazi came fifth and Al-Olompi sixth.

Al-Ittihad and Al-Ahly Tripoli will play at CAF Champions League as they have ensured first and second places on the group because they are playing the playoff for the first two spots of the league.
