The Libyan Football Federation (LFF) has announced that the second leg of the national league’s hexagonal stage is set to begin soon, despite earlier delays attributed to unforeseen circumstances.
In a statement published on its official Facebook page, the Federation reiterated its commitment to organizing what it describes as an "exceptional league" that reflects the ambitions of Libyan football. It praised the technical standards displayed in the opening stage and commended the positive cooperation between competing clubs.
While no exact date was given for the return matches, the Federation assured that all logistical and technical preparations have been completed and that coordination with the involved clubs is ongoing. The Federation also pledged to maintain the current football calendar in line with the Confederation of African Football (CAF) guidelines.
Notably, the final stage of the league will be held outside Libya, in a country yet to be announced. The move, according to the Federation, is aimed at showcasing Libyan football in a more professional light and boosting its regional and international profile.
The Federation also called on foreign players, coaches, and both local and international media to support the league and contribute to portraying a positive image of football in Libya.
