Libya's Youth and Sports Authority has announced the gradual resumption of sports activities across the country.

In a presss conference on Tuesday, the Head of the authority's emergency committee Hussein Al-Busaifi and his deputy Al-Mabrouk Al-Musrati revealed a 19-article protocol for sports activities to limit the spread of Coronavirus.

Al-Busaifi reiterated commitment to protecting spokespersons and workers at all sports departments across Libya, saying they had come up with a health protocol with anti-coronavirus measures to be applied in all sports and their institutions.

Meanwhile, sports federations, especially football, confirmed readiness to start the season once they obtain permissions from the Youth and Sports Authority.
