The Libyan athletics national team for special needs is continuing its training in Tripoli course preparing to participate in the Special Olympic World Games in Los Angeles, US on July 25 to August 2, 2015.

The team’s coach, Shaban Al-Abrood said he is optimistic that the team’s athletes will positively achieve in the games, on the other hand, Libyan athlete, Hazem Hamdan, who won two medals in the last games in South Korea, said he is very positive that the Libyan team is going to win lots of medals. 

The Libyan team is to participate with five male athletes and one female athlete in the 100 m, 200 m, 400 m, 800 m, and 1500 m games, in addition to a female participation in long jump, relay and shot put games.
