The Libyan beach volleyball team beat Wednesday the Algerian team B in its first match within the 4th edition of the Men's Beach Volleyball International Tournament, scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday in Algiers.
The Libyan team also won Wednesday its second match against the Wilaya of Algiers team, ending the first round at the top of the group.
In the quarter-finals, the Libyan team is scheduled to play the team of Wilaya Boumerdès Thursday.
The Libyan team is made up of players Mohammed Alakak ,Rafiq Iraibi and headed by the national coach Adil Tanton.
Besides host Algeria, the tournament brings together pairs from Libya, Tunisia, Morocco, Niger, Belgium and France.
