Libyan boxer and WBF International Light Heavyweight Champion Malik Zinad defended his title against Georgian Beka Aduashvili in the German city of Bielefeld on Sunday.

Malta-based Zinad (23) had little trouble with his challenger Aduashvili, dominating from the get-go and scoring a convincing stoppage in the fifth round.

Zinad out-boxed his foe with quick punches to body and head. The end came when a short right hand send Aduashvili down for an eight-count, and Zinad followed up to finish him off with a right uppercut.

Having won the title last September, Zinad, who is managed by former World Light Heavyweight Kingpin Donny Lalonde, improved his professional record to 7-0 (6).
