Libyan champion and long distance swimmer, Salem Badir, was awarded a gold medal as he rang first in the 3 km swimming competition in the recent Open Waters Swimming Championship in Cyprus.
Swimmer Badir is to represent Libya in the swimming competitions in the Mediterranean Beach Games Championship in Pescara, Italy next month.
