The Libyan futsal team has drawn with the Egyptian counterpart 0-0 in the first match of the two teams at the Africa Futsal Cup of Nations, 2016, which kicked off in South Africa Friday. The match was played as part of group 2 in the competition, which will last until April 24.

Libya, which holds the title of the last competition and tops Arab and African countries in the World Futsal Ranking, is going to play Morocco on Monday and Angola on Wednesday.

It is worth mentioning that the Africa Futsal Cup of Nations kicked off Friday with Mozambique against the host country, South Africa, where the former won 7-4, while the second Friday match was between Zambia and Tunisia, where Tunisia lost 2-4.

The first three winning teams in this competition are going to qualify for the FIFA Futsal World Cup 2017 in Colombia next November.
