Libya's national rowing team is to start its training camp in Tunisia in preparation for the first African championship and the second Arab championship for beach rowing in Hammamet, Tunisia, scheduled to run from 27 October to the 31st of the same month.

A group of six Libyan athletes will join an external camp in Tunis to prepare for the African and Arab championships, the Libyan Rowing Federation says.

According to the head of the Libyan Rowing Federation, Noureddine Al-Krikshi, both Abdul Salam Muhammad and Ahlam Al-Walwal will coach the national team in the upcoming competitions.

"The coaching staff has developed an intensive rehabilitation program to get the team ready for this entitlement," Al-Krikshi said.

The Libyan team had earlier concluded a one-month training camp in Tripoli, on the sidelines of the rowing tournament, supervised by the International Rowing Federation for Distinguished Athletes.
