“City Wadan Desert Race” is going to take place on next Thursday for the second time with a huge number of participating cars and motorcycles.
“The race will have two tracks; the first will be for 28-29 km and the second will be for 26 km over two consecutive days.” The Chief Organizer for the supervising committee Mohammed Al-Haj explained to the press.
Al-Haj added that there would be some activities that will go hand-in-hand with the race, including Libya Peace Carnival for air sports, which will see 8 air sports clubs’ participations from all across the country.
“The carnival will include skydiving, gliding, and radio-controlled aircraft activities.” Al-Haj elaborated.
He also added that galleries will take place as well on the margin of the carnival, displaying dates, traditions, popular games, sand soccer, volleyball, athletics, processions, a horserace, culture and poetry open mics, concerts as well as school exhibitions supervised by civil societies in Wadan.
