Algerian authorities have decided to suspend flights to Libya’s capital, Tripoli that are operated by Libyan Airlines Company, according to a statement by the Algerian Ministry of Transportation.

The statement explained that after the Algerian government had informed the Libyan authorities and the Libyan aviation company (Libyan Airlines), the Algerian Civil Aviation decided to suspend flights between the two countries starting Friday, January 29 until further notice.

Libyan Airlines resumed flights to Algeria in March 2015 after many countries shut down their air space before flights coming from Libyan airports.
