Counselor Mohammed Abu Shaala took office on Monday as the Head of the Supreme Judiciary Council (SJC) as per the General National Congress’s charter.

 

Abu Shaala received the post from the former SJC’s Deputy, Yousif Al-Khamri in the SJC’s headquarters in Tripoli under the supervision of a specialized GNC’s committee, which was formed under the charter (55) 2015 with the authority to proceed with posts appointments.

 

The judicial appointment event was attended by the Deputy Minister of Justice, Ibrahim Khasib, the SJC’s member, consultant Ali Darweesh, and the Audit Bureau’s representative, Abdulrahman Al-Ahwal.
