Libya’s embassy in Saudi Arabia has denied on Facebook any deaths among Libyan hajis in the country.

Likewise, the head of the medical committee of the Libyan Hajis’ mission, Nour Al-Deen Arebi, also denied any deaths or serious injuries among the hajis, saying there some hajis who go to Saudi hospitals as the assigned clinic cannot accommodate patients for over 4 hours.

Arebi also added that the committee assigned companions to the patients frequenting the hospitals.

Some media outlets reported the death of three hajis in Saudi Arabia.
