Under the theme "Therapeutic Nutrition, a Pillar of Better Health," the 6th Conference of the Syndicate of Therapeutic Nutritionists in Libya was held with wide participation of specialists, academics, and representatives of health institutions from various Libyan cities.
The conference aims to highlight the role of therapeutic nutrition in promoting public health and addressing contemporary health challenges, in addition to exchanging expertise and knowledge among those working in this field. The conference programme included a series of scientific lectures and workshops discussing the latest developments in nutrition science and recent research on the impact of nutrition on chronic diseases.
It also included presentations on health policies and the role of nutrition in prevention. In his opening remarks, the Syndicate President emphasized the importance of organizing this scientific event, noting that the Syndicate seeks, through this conference, to raise the level of professional competence and enhance community awareness of the role of nutritionists in the health system.
On its sideline, the conference was also accompanied by an exhibition featuring the participation of several companies and centers specializing in nutrition and health, as well as open discussion sessions on developing mechanisms for professional training and cooperation between educational and health institutions.
