As part of the Sawab Tawaiah (Righteous Awareness) Activities at Nouji House in the Old City of Tripoli, a dialogue session was held on breast cancer awareness and confronting rumors and misleading information with the participation of Dr. Asmaa Al-Sabry, a breast cancer specialist, head of the Libyan Cancer Control Union, and psychiatrist Mawada Al-Dukali.

The session addressed the significant psychological impact of rumors and misleading information on the health of patients and how to provide psychological support to them.

The session also included the most prominent rumors that female doctors face during their work, and the correct mechanism for dealing with rumors by publishing scientific evidence and providing accurate advice to patients and society.

On the sidelines of the events, a partnership agreement was signed between the School Activities Department and the Sawab to raise awareness within schools for teachers and students within a group of awareness lectures and workshops to combat misleading information and its severity among students.

The Sawab initiative comes at a time when the challenges of misleading information are increasing, especially with the spread of social media to increase awareness among students and distinguish between correct and misleading information, which enhances the quality of education and protects the social fabric from the effects of harmful rumors.
