A team from Libya's Central Bank (CBL) has met with representatives of Morgan Stanley -an American multinational investment bank and financial services company- to brief them on the bank's efforts in complying with governance and transparency rules and combating money laundering.

The two parties met on the sidelines of the International Monetary Fund held in Marrakesh, Morocco.

During the session, the group reviewed the procedures taken to unify the CBL and the investment tools proposed by the bank.

They also shared notes on the global economic developments and the bank’s expectations for the year 2024 in light of the changes taking place in financial markets and global supply chains.
