The Sirte Oil and Gas Company has announced the control of fire that broke out during maintenance work in one of the towers of the second urea plant of the Libyan Fertilizer Company due to flying shrapnel to one of the scaffolds for maintenance work.

The accident did not cause any human or material damage, as it was brought under control despite the danger posed by the height of the place, which reached about 70 meters, in addition to the presence of scaffolding that impedes the movement of dealing with the fire, according to the statement.
