The International Criminal Court (ICC) has announced an additional year extension for the joint team aimed at supporting investigations into crimes against migrants and refugees in Libya.

The court explained that the team consists of the Public Prosecutor’s Office, the countries of the Netherlands, Spain, Italy, Britain, and the European Union Agency for Law Enforcement Cooperation, known as “Europol.”

This came during a meeting with the Deputy Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court, Nazhat Shameem Khan, in the Spanish capital, Madrid, where she signed the extension memorandum for the joint team.
