The Italian Foreign Minister, Luigi Di Maio, along with his Algerian counterpart, Sabri Boukadoum, discussed the Libyan file and all relevant developments within the country.

According to Italy’s Nova news agency, the Italian Foreign Ministry reported that the two ministers discussed the Libyan file in a phone call, categorically covering the matter of maritime demarcation.

The Italian Foreign Ministry stated that the conversation between both countries comes within the framework of a unified bilateral political dialogue, with the aim of exchanging views on Libya and the Middle East generally, according to the Nova agency.
