The Kuwait Red Crescent has sent a plane to Libya carrying ten tons of relief and medical aid and an ambulance, to help those affected by the floods in the eastern region.

The Red Crescent explained in a statement on Sunday that the plane took off last Wednesday from Abdullah Al-Mubarak Air Base, which is affiliated with the Kuwaiti Air Force, and is the seventh plane in the Kuwaiti air bridge to relieve the Libyans.

About a week ago, the Emergency Medicine and Support Center in Benghazi received a shipment of relief and medical aid coming from Kuwait.
